About the Journal

The Art of Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TATEFL) is a scientific journal published by English Language Education Department of STKIP Agama Hindu Singaraja. This journal aims to accommodate articles of research results of community service in the field of education and learning about English education. In the end this Journal can provide a description of the development of science and technology in the field of English language education for the academic community.

This issue brings together five studies that explore emerging trends and innovative practices in English language education. Contributed by authors from Indonesia, China, Norway, Japan, and Australia, the articles examine the integration of artificial intelligence through ChatGPT, the effectiveness of the POSSE strategy and Digital Storytelling in enhancing reading skills, the role of mindfulness in supporting academic communication and student well-being, and the function of translation as multilingual mediation in higher education contexts.

Collectively, these contributions highlight the importance of technology-enhanced learning, student-centered pedagogy, critical literacy development, and multilingual practices in addressing the evolving needs of language learners. The findings offer valuable insights for educators, researchers, and practitioners seeking to improve language teaching and learning in diverse educational settings.
